The Proxxon Diamond Drilling and Grinding Bit (1.5mm) is a precision micro-bit for drilling and grinding in glass, ceramics, porcelain, and hard stone with Proxxon MICROMOT rotary tools. The diamond coating provides the hardness to penetrate brittle materials cleanly – where standard HSS or carbide bits would chip or crack the workpiece. At 1.5mm, this bit bridges the gap between the ultra-fine 1.0mm and the larger 3.2mm ball bit, making it ideal for slightly larger precision holes in tile, glass, and stone.
