The Proxxon Flap Disc – 50mm, 100 Grit is the blending and finishing disc for the Proxxon LHW/E and LHW/A long neck angle grinders. Flap disc construction – overlapping abrasive flaps on a backing plate – delivers a smoother, more consistent finish than a flat grinding disc, conforming slightly to curved and irregular surfaces while removing the scratch pattern left by coarser grinding steps.
At 100 grit, this disc sits between aggressive stock removal and fine sanding – ideal for blending weld seams, removing 60-grit scratch marks, and preparing surfaces for polishing or coating in tight spaces where a standard angle grinder can't reach.
